Reaction Time
In most games, reaction time can be vitally important. For most (if not all) first person shooter games and RTS (micro), the player with the faster reaction time has a huge advantage.
Factors That Can Influence Reaction Time:
- Amount of sleep
- Diet
- Total gaming time
Ways to Increase Reaction Time:
- Get plenty of sleep
- Vitamin D (if its ok with your doctor)
- Vitamin B12, Ginsing
- Avoid caffeine or other temporary boosters (unless you only need it for a single tournament)
- Exercise and taking frequent breaks
- Pace your gaming for important tournaments! Playing straight for long period can dimnish your gameplay. When it comes down to something important, be sure to rest before and do some quick jumps or push-ups to get your bloodflow going.
